However, turn on Safari's Develop menu in its Advanced preferences, choose Develop > User Agent > Safari — iOS 9.3 — iPad, then connect to the iPlayer site. This means that instead of opening an app and tapping to get your smart home gear to do something, you can ask Siri instead. Before you start using Siri to control your home, you need to give every HomeKit-compatible device in your home a unique name that Siri will recognise.
