Ellie trains three to four times a week at Barry’s Bootcamp (dubbed 'the world’s best workout’), which recently opened up a second studio in east London. The 60-minute workout, which counts the likes of Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham as devotees, whips you into shape with a combination of intense cardio, like bursts of running on treadmills and strength training using heavy weights and bands.
'Ellie’s work ethic is amazing,” says the pop star’s go-to trainer, Faisal Abdalla at Barry’s Bootcamp. 'The training we do is dirty, hard and aggressive, but she always enjoys it. She is an athlete.’
Faisal mixes up their 60-minute sessions with a combination of punching (Ellie’s favourite), sprints, plyometric training and weights, and all in one minute intervals.
