Women’s Golf is Australia’s ONLY golf magazine dedicated to women golfers. Full of great tips and training ideas, equipment reviews, industry news, course profiles, golf fashion, athlete interviews, golf holidays & much more.
Big news! Women’s Golf magazine has launched in the Americas! We’ve been going for 21 years in Australia we are excited to celebrate this monumental occasion, too. The majority of articles WG publishes are universal (primarily the instructional content, athlete interviews, the golf travel section and our detailed equipment reviews) and there won’t be any major changes to the magazine format. If anything, things around here are going to be bigger and better! We are also aiming to produce more targeted content geared towards our Australian and New Zealand audience. So, feel free to reach out if you have a next-gen golfer in mind for us to profile, a golf event to highlight, a product suggestion that every golfer should have, or a domestic golfing destination to put on our…
With our early-season WPGA Tour events done and dusted (except for the newly minted WPGA Championship, which was sadly cancelled due to Cyclone Alfred), we now look forward to a busy American and European summer for our WPGA Tour members. Before we do, though, it would be remiss of me not to reflect on an amazing story to come out of the WPGA Tour in early 2025 - the comeback of Aussie golf star, Sarah Kemp! Kempy suffered a horrific leg injury in a freak accident in 2024, and at the time, there was some early talk that she may never walk properly again. Nevertheless, just 7 months after her injury, Kempy made an emotional return to top-level golf at the Australian Women’s Classic in Coffs Harbour and the joy…

Shortly after Maja Stark completed the third round of the U.S. Women’s Open, it all started to sink in. The one-time LPGA Tour winner, now 25, was leading a major championship heading into the final 18 holes for the first time in her career. When asked how she would manage expectations with that weight on her shoulders, Stark replied, ‘Anything can happen. The ball is round. The course is hard.’ With that profound yet simple statement, it became evident that the one-stroke lead she held over the field might just be more than enough. Major champions Hinako Shibuno, Mao Saigo, Minjee Lee and world No. 1 Nelly Korda were just a few of the big names lurking within four shots of the lead. And at a golf course like Erin…
Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin’s Dairyland, Erin Hills Golf Course is a brilliantly designed gem located just 50 km outside of Milwaukee. Several experts played a role in shaping this public course, but its most influential architect was Mother Nature. The rolling fairways and undulating greens were sculpted by a retreating glacier more than 10,000 years ago. Every hole at Erin Hills offers a distinct experience from the last, contributing to a layout that feels like it was made for championship golf. Having hosted both a U.S. Open and a U.S. Women’s Open, the course has earned its reputation as a stern but fun test of golf. According to Golf Digest, Erin Hills ranks as the No. 2 course in Wisconsin and the No. 10 public course in America.…
