Less publicised than Mauritius and with lots of peaceful, remote, small islands, the potential for downwinder discovery is massive. There are at least 25 stunning white sand beaches in Zanzibar, which measures just 90 miles long and 40 miles wide. 25 miles from the Tanzanian coast, you’ll find yourself easily at home in the transparent waters along with the dolphins.
