A PATIO OF PLENTY
After moving house five years ago and having an allotment and a large garden, we downsized and now have a rather small patio. I love to garden and have crammed in as much as I can, which feeds us very well throughout the year. I grow everything now on a very small scale but with plenty of variety: potatoes, caulies, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peas, butternut squash, onions, beetroot, courgette, garlic, mint, radish and salad leaves; tayberry, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant and, last but not least, apples.
