After Australia finally got Harley-Davidson’s Tri Glide Ultra and Freewheeler factory three-wheelers in 2017, there have been some changes, most notably the switch from the Milwaukee-Eight 107 to the Milwaukee-Eight 114 for 2019.
For 2021, the Milwaukee-Eight 114 v-twin continues, putting out 159Nm at 3,000rpm on both Trike variants. Interestingly, this is down marginally on the listed maximum of 162Nm at 3,250rpm for the MY20 Trikes. At time of writing, the reason behind this mild detuning had not been revealed.
Updates for 2021 include cornering-enhanced ABS and Traction Control on the Freewheeler, while the Tri Glide Ultra gets an all-new Traction Control system and a new 4-speaker Boom! GTS infotainment system.
