Algeria is the largest country on the continent of Africa, and the 10th largest country in the world. It’s located in the north of Africa, with Morocco, Tunisia, Mali, Niger and Libya all neighbouring countries. The Sahara Desert covers a lot of land in Algeria. This means most of the population of the country live in the coastal areas. The most common language spoken is Arabic, with French also spoken by the Algerian people.
