The Ram temple will be built in the Nagara style, with an octagonal sanctum sanctorum
The new design will have a shikhar (central dome) and five pavilions: the Goorh (hidden) mandap, along with the Nritya, Rang (theatre); Prarthana andKirtan mandaps
The temple will now have three floors, with Ramlalla presiding on the first and the Ram Darbar on the second. The third floor will be an empty hall
Following temple architecture, the shrine will have 17 elements— shikhar, garbhagriha, kalash, gopuram, rath, urushringa, mandap, ardhamandap, jagati, stambha, parikrama, shuknath, torana, antaraal, gawaksh, amalak and adhishthana
The main temple will be made of pink stone. A total of 3.25 lakh cu. ft of stone will be used for the entire temple. It will not have any iron parts
