Pink. Soft blush pink, rose pink, marshmallow, milkshake, softserve, a favourite dress, tutus! I paint a wall in the softest gossamer pink, a fresh breath for the house that has been so wintery for so long. It’s time to open the windows and let the outside air wander through the rooms like an inquisitive child who touches things, picks up cups, looks in the cupboards, because spring is coming and it is time for renewal.
There is a pink for every taste: lilac, bubblegum, rose-tinted peach pink, bright bougainvillea party pink, the soft dustiness of earthy pink … shades that give our lives a new rhythm. Somewhere between the frolic of red and the tiptoe of white, pink is a hop and a skip.
