Alongside his fashion label, Jasper has designed homeware for brands including Waterford, Wedgwood and Debenhams, where his J by Jasper Conran range has been going strong since 1998. Jasper lives in a first-floor flat in a converted 1860s house in London. Orange flower madeleines Takes 30min Makes 12-15 INGREDIENTS • 2 eggs • 75g caster sugar • 85g plain white flour• 1tsp baking powder • ¼tsp salt • 60g butter, melted and cooled slightly, plus extra for greasing • Grated zest of 1 orange • 2tsp orange flower water • 4tsp floral honey, melted 1 Preheat the oven to 220°C/Fan 200°C/Gas 7. Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a bowl until pale and frothy. Sift then fold in the flour, baking powder and salt, working carefully and quickly. 2 Add the butter, orange zest and orange flower water and fold through quickly.
