“I've had him since he was seven, and his owner, Manon Ackermann, is a Lusitano fan also,” said Fie. “He is a very strong character and knows he's good and handsome.”
Fie, who turned 49 on grand prix day, is Danish-born and was a double young rider team bronze medallist for Denmark.
