Four of my five siblings – Sue, Tiny, Philip and Alice – have ridden around Badminton. I evented at junior level, but after breaking my ribs in a fall, I decided to get some work. I saw a job in credit insurance, gave up my university place at the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) and have been in the business ever since, now as CEO of DUAL, the underwriting part of the Howden Group.
