I left the Army in 2013, having served in the Queen’s Royal Hussars, to come home to take over the family farm from my father, John. He had established a well-respected herd of Ruby Red Devons, which were, and still are, his pride and joy.
I diversified part of the farm eight years ago, putting in gallops and training facilities, which we rent out. On the Marlborough Downs, it is the perfect place to train, with chalk downs and space.
