HANNE WIND RAMSGAARD (above) has competed at two Europeans on her former championship rider, Vestervangs Arami, and jumped clear round last year’s World Championships cross-country on her ride this time, Amequ Torino, before withdrawing him ahead of the final horse inspection. Hanne bred the 10-year-old Toulouse gelding Amequ Torino out of her own mare Staugaard’s Flying Colours, by Cosmeo. Hanne juggles eventing with being mother to her son, Robin, and a fulltime job – she is trained as a carpenter and works in a kindergarten, “fixing everything”.
