PRESSURE is a funny thing. For some, great sportspeople included, it can be crippling, a fast track to uncharacteristic mistakes or clouded judgement. But for others, it brings out the very best in them. And in Herning, pressure or even lack of it, proved a key element as the grand prix played out in dramatic fashion.
For the Danes, riding high on their European bronze in 2021, then Nations Cup victory earlier in the summer at CHIO Aachen, and of course as the home side, the pressure coming into this World Championship was immense.
