A DAY out with mum and dad proved just the ticket for four-year-old mare Sweet Dreams FH, known as “Diva”, who headed both prelims on her competition debut at Topthorn Arena, Suffolk. Her sire, Juli Stevens’ Woodlander Summertime Blues, made easy work of the elementary classes to win both outright, before her dam, Dark Magic (pictured), took the gold sections of both mediums.
“It was a family affair,” said Ruth Hole, who rode all three. “Diva has been a star in training over the past few months and got her chance to shine. Her dad is sensitive, like his daughter, but once he finds his confidence he is amazing.”
