LAST September Tracy Morgan and Ballyboe Integrity headed the prix st georges (PSG) at the Northern Area Festival, and went on to collect third at the finals. This year the pair went one better to take the inter I title on only their fifth outing at the level.
“We’re learning together, so I had no expectations,” said Tracy, a freelance instructor.
“I felt he was a bit behind my leg in the trot work, and we had a blip in the two-times, so there’s plenty to work on. It’s a lovely surprise to have won.”
Tracy, who trains with Paul Hayler, has been steadily working up through the grades with the Ricardo Z 15-year-old, who used to be an eventer.
