NEW FOR YOUR DIARY
â˘Dressage
WE foresee a flurry of new freestyles as riders go all-out to reach the new summer music championships, in which a winner will be crowned at every level up to prix st georges. The ever-expanding British Dressage calendar will also boast a bronze championship, with qualification from prelim to advanced medium. Dates and venues to be announced.
â˘Eventing
EVENTERS in the north will be all smiles, with Hopetoun returning at grass roots level and Scottish Championships at BE90, BE100, novice, intermediate and open taking place at Blair Castle. A new venue, Frenchfield Park, near Penrith, will also be up and running.
âExpect sandy soil and an open, undulating course, dotted with Cumbrian stone walls,â says organiser Douglas Weymouth. âRiders can test their horsesâ fitness onâŚ
