SARAH ROYAL, 67, started eventing again two years ago, and, having had lessons with Molly Sivewright before her Pony Club A test, is now training with Molly’s daughter, Pammy Hutton, writes Annabel Kerby.
Sarah and Gredington Acrobat, an eight-year-old by Uptons Deli Circus, headed the prelim 17 bronze qualifier at Stockland Lovell, Somerset (1 February), in Sarah’s first affiliated test for 20 years.
“We’ve been hunting with the West Somerset over the winter and so I thought it was time we got rid of the rusty bits,” said Sarah, who is also helped by Julie Langrish.
Jo Retallack headed the elementary 44 at Colraine EC, Cornwall (4 February), on her 10-year-old Landmark Dandy, whom she bought from the Landmark Stud dispersal sale at Holsworthy market.
