CADLANVALLEY SUPER TED (right), a four-year-old former rescue pony, headed the Carrs BMW show hunter lead-rein class for the Kerr family, who bought him just three weeks earlier. Producer Craig Elenor met him for the first time then too, and this was not only their inaugural outing together, but the pony’s second appearance on the lead-rein.
Owner Hayley Grota snapped him up as a two-year-old.
“I liked the look of him so bought him, wormed him and then chucked him out in the field,” said Hayley, whose daughter Libby is now out of lead-rein ranks. “When I brought him in, I realised he was a darling.”
Cate Kerr, six, executed a perfect “round the world” as part of her show, and Ted stood rock-solid.
