LEADING names in eventing, including Mark Todd, Zara Phillips and William Fox-Pitt, gathered for the launch of the Event Rider Masters (ERM) on Friday (19 February), a CIC3* series that aims to showcase the sport to a wider audience (news, 28 January), writes Kate Green.
The pilot series has a prize fund of £350,000 (each first prize is £16,000) and will give money to the host events (Chatsworth, Bramham, Barbury, Gatcombe, Blair Castle and Blenheim).
It is underpinned by Chris and Lisa Stone, owners of Badminton-winning stallion Chilli Morning.
