Concorso Italiano – the world’s largest celebration of Italian car design and performance – returns for its 34th year Saturday, August 17, 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Bayonet Blackhorse Golf Course in Seaside, California. More than 8,000 attendees are expected to enjoy 1,000 cars and motorcycles.
The event celebrates the 50th anniversaries of the Ferrari 365 Dino and the DeTomaso Pantera. The 70th of the Abarth will also be marked. And, as part of the multi-year celebration of Alfa Romeo with Sports Car Market, three stellar models will be honored: Junio Zagato, Giulietta and Guilia Spider.
Ten marques are individually judged at the Concorso: Alfa, DeTomaso, Ferrari, Fiat/Abarth, Lancia, Iso / Bizzarrini, Lamborghini, Maserati, Motorcycles & Special Coachworks (Italian Designed Vehicles). Other classics regularly shown include Apollo, Bandini, Bertone, Cisitalia,…
