A study conducted by WEEDAR, a distribution and loyalty platform for cannabis brands, recently analyzed cannabis-related music playlists on Spotify to determine what music is preferred most by consumers. WEEDAR examined 5,506 tracks on 20 different cannabis playlists, and reviewed how many plays each song has received, as well as how many playlists it was included in. The top five most popular songs included “The Box” by Roddy Ricch, “Redbone” by Childish Gambino, “Highest in the Room” by Travis Scott, “Passionfruit” by Drake, and “Work” by Rihanna and Drake. New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu signed House Bill 611 on Aug. 8, which enables the creation of a study commission to prepare for cannabis legalization through a state-run program. “New Hampshire has an opportunity to safely regulate the sale of marijuana with a model few others can provide,” said Sununu. “By establishing a commission to study state-controlled sales, this bill will bring stakeholders from across New Hampshire together to ensure that preventing negative impacts upon kids remains our number one priority.” Earlier this spring, a cannabis legalization bill was rejected by New Hampshire senators. The 2023 Cannabis Price Index was recently published by CFAH.org and shares a great deal of information regarding cannabis prices across 140 cities located both in the U.S. and across the globe. On an international scale, the cities with the highest price of cannabis per gram was Tokyo, Japan ($33.8 per gram), Dublin, Ireland ($22.5), Tallinn, Estonia ($22.1), Rishon Letsiyon, Israel ($21), and Stavanger, Norway ($20.8), among others. In comparison, some of the cities with the cheapest price per gram of cannabis included Montreal, Canada ($5.90), Bangalore, India ($6), Notre Dame, Canada ($6.2), Kabul, Afghanistan ($6.3), and Vancouver, Canada ($6.30). The report also analyzed data regarding the cities whose citizens consume the most cannabis, which New York topped as the winner with residents consuming more 62.3 metric tons of cannabis.…
