When Pharrell Williams decided to make a film about his life, the musician and producer knew exactly how he wanted to do it: in the form of his favourite childhood toy, Lego.
And as the documentary musical, called Piece by Piece, hits the big screen, he reveals who was on his mind when he made it – his four children.
“I did that Lego movie for my kids to understand my story,” says the 51-year-old father of four, who has son Rocket, 15, and seven-year-old triplets with his wife, model and designer Helen Lasichanh, 44.
