For anyone with young children, trips to the park are second nature. That goes for the King and Queen of Bhutan, too. The popular ruling couple, King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema, took their sons, Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel and Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck, and daughter Sonam Yangden Wangchuck to the inauguration of Changyul Park in the Bhutanese capital, Thimphu.
Naturally, they were keen to explore the space, which features a community hub, a jogging bridge, picnic areas, a floating bar and beautiful planting.
