As well as planning Christmas with her family, the Duchess of Cambridge is preparing to spread more festive cheer by hosting a starry, one-off charity carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
The fundraiser, which is believed to be in aid of NHS Charities Together, will be held in the second or third week of December and televised in a prime-time slot in the days leading up to Christmas.
The Duke is expected to accompany his wife for the festive celebration, which insiders say will be “very special”, and they’re likely to take children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and three-year-old Prince Louis to enjoy the event’s carols, readings and musical performances.
