The BBC’s editorial complaints unit has ruled that Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty breached channel guidelines by criticising US President Donald Trump for perceived racism. In July, President Trump posted a tweet telling four congresswomen from minority backgrounds to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came”. TAYLOR SWIFT Cancels Australian concert Taylor Swift has cancelled a scheduled November performance at Australia’s Melbourne Cup horse racing event. The decision comes two weeks after the US singer – whose album Lover reached No. 1 in Australia – announced the gig and follows an outcry from animal rights activists. Groups urging Taylor to cancel the gig include the Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses, who campaigned on social media for the star to say #NupToTheCup.
