With her dulcet tones, natural charm, warmth and humour, Joanna Lumley made an absolutely fabulous job of presenting the Baftas last year.
Now the 72-year-old actress and campaigner is back to host the awards ceremony for a second year, watched at the Royal Albert Hall in London by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
“I’ve been cramming for two weeks,” she says. “It’s a bit like homework, but doing homework with a smile on your face – I’m so sorry, I’ve just got to watch two films tonight.’ I’ve just been watching and watching and watching.”
