Call at Osteria al Squero, a small but perfectly formed bacaro in Dorsoduro, for mouth-watering cicheti (Venetian snacks similar to tapas). At Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Giudecca 10’s wonderful spaghetti is best enjoyed alfresco on the terrace (above), while newly launched cookery classes take their cues from the hotel’s Michelin-starred Oro restaurant.
