The list of around 1,000 people in last weekend’s Queen’s Birthday Honours has been described as one of the most diverse to date.
On the eve of Wimbledon, sport’s most famous mum, Judy Murray, 57, has been awarded an OBE for her services to tennis, women in sport and charity. She is the third member of her family to be honoured after her sons, tennis world No. 1 Andy, knighted in the New Year’s Honours list, and his doubles specialist brother Jamie, who received an OBE in 2016.
