The 15-year-old son of singer Nick Cave died last week after he fell from a 60ft cliff in Brighton. Nick’s son Arthur was with a friend when he fell from the cliff top near his family home on Tuesday evening. He was found with life-threatening injuries on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap, and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. In a statement, Nick, 57, and his model wife Susie said: “Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy, loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time.” The family, including Arthur’s twin brother Earl, visited the site last Wednesday. Turning two is a milestone in any child’s life and for little Prince George the important event will be marked with a commemorative £5 coin. A limited run of 7,500 silver coins has been minted to honour the young royal’s big day and the design has been given the seal of approval from his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, his great-grandmother the Queen and the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. On one side of the coin is an image of St George battling the dragon by the artist Christopher Le Brun.
