When three years ago Annalisa Arrigoni was relocating from Milan to Treviglio, which is halfway between Milan and Bergamo, she viewed an apartment that, although perfectly designed, was too small for her needs. The seller was interior designer and architect Daniele Daminelli, from Studio 2046 – and this chance meeting created a blueprint for the home she lives in today. “I fell in love with his style,” she says speaking to us on Zoom, on a windy morning in Puglia. “I promised him that even though the apartment didn’t work for me, when I found one, I wanted him to design it.” During her ongoing property quest, she viewed one she thought ideal, but it was sold to someone else, leaving her feeling “desperate”. Scouted at the age of 18 on a shopping trip with her mum has led to a successful modelling career for Hana Cross. When Huishan Zhang arrived in London ahead of his AW22 fashion show earlier this year, he hadn’t stepped foot in the capital since the pandemic.
