Golden peacocks from Persia, flowers embroidered with pearls and beads, and a modern rendering of the classic paisley—these are the motifs that dominate JJ Valaya’s new couture collection, Tabriz. The bridal range marks the end of the designer’s three-year creative sabbatical and includes lehenga sets, saris, and anarkalis for women, and achkans, kurtas, and turbans for men.
