ONE OF THE MATCHES that got me where I am today is now back. Called simply “The Pin Shoot,” it is happening again annually during the second full week of June, in Central Lake, Michigan. There, for 14 previous episodes of adrenaline therapy, I learned how to shoot an encyclopedia of firearms, build guns for specific tasks, and was educated on how to deal with match pressure. Those were fun times, and I learned something new on almost every excursion. As was the case at the re-inaugural match this year.
