Having enjoyed busking and gigging with my acoustic guitar and the Cube Street II, both in Glastonbury and in London, and experimented with deeper editing of effects and sounds via the Cube ST2 app for iPhone, I decided it was time to try out some of the amp’s remaining features. The most obvious of these is that it has three electric guitar amp models onboard, in case you want to busk Stevie Ray tunes instead of John Renbourn. Predictably enough, there’s Clean, Crunch and Lead modes – as well as, slightly confusingly, an Acoustic Sim mode so you can play unplugged music while, er, plugged in if you should so wish.
