They wrote some of the best-loved books in the English language, such as Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall - and now you can do a walk that follows some of their stories. The 70km/4-day Bronte Way has been designed to link places that have strong associations with the writings of the Bronte family such as Oakwell Hall, Charlotte Bronte's inspiration for Fieldhead in her 1849 novel, Shirley, and Top Withens, Emily Bronte's inspiration for the home in her 1847 classic Wuthering Heights.
