I was prescribed the Pill to help with depression and did feel much better with no side effects. However, I had a heart attack in my mid-thirties due to a blood clot, which the doctors were 99% sure was caused by the Pill as there were no other factors. I had to stop taking it suddenly and my body reacted in various different ways. Since then I use other forms of contraception and am on medication specifically for depression.
