Ofsted’s latest report revealed that sexual harassment is rife in schools – nine in 10 girls have been sent unsolicited ‘dick pics’ and being pestered for naked selfies is the norm. Inspectors were told boys share the nudes ‘like a collection game’. Just as depressing is how many children put up with this abuse, saying it’s too routine to bother reporting it. To change this culture we need action, including more education and a better reporting system, now. Not shock and then silence as usual.
