How do I hit a soft draw? By Top 50 Coach Anders Mankert There is quite a simple way to think about this, and it relates to the relationship between the path and the clubface. If the swing path is further to the right than the clubface is aiming, the ball will draw from right to left in its flight. If these ‘lines’ are both pointing the same amount right, the ball will not come back to the left. The strike location is another influencing factor as, if you hit the ball off the toe or heel, it will greatly influence the flight.
