Harry Colt is regarded as one of the greatest golf course architects of all time, and while his most notable designs such as Royal Portrush and Sunningdale New are world famous, there are plenty of interesting and engaging designs that are less well-known away from their locality. One lovely such example is Denham, which is on the south-eastern corner of Buckinghamshire, just 20 miles from the heart of the capital and a short drive from the M25. Despite this suburban setting, it is remarkably peaceful and rural.
