THE PUPPY BOWL Seeing as the Super Bowl has recently passed, we thought it would be fun to cover the super-cute Puppy Bowl. The Puppy Bowl is shown each year on Super Bowl Sunday, but instead of football played by professional athletes, the game is played by adorable and adoptable puppies. A quick Puppy Bowl note: No puppies are harmed in the playing of the Puppy Bowl. A veterinarian as well as representatives from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals are always on site to ensure the puppies are safe and taken care of. Morisot was among the “rejected” Impressionists, and exhibited with them from 1874 to 1886, but her work was unique. Morisot painted domestic scenes of everyday life for a woman, a subject in which her male peers had no insight. Morisot was born in 1841 into a bourgeois family. When Morisot was still a child, her family moved from Bourges, France, to Paris, where Morisot lived for the remainder of her life.
