IN 1982, THREE YEARS AFTER THE PANAVIA TORNADO JET ENTERED OPERATIONAL SERVICE, DIGITAL INTEGRATION WAS FORMED BY DAVID MARSHALL AND ROD SWIFT. With both men working at the RAF as engineers, it was inevitable that the new company would specialise in simulations, especially flight simulations. After Marshall produced Fighter Pilot for the ZX Spectrum and Swift did the same for Night Gunner, this inevitability came to pass, and the side-business took off for the two men.
