Robots save the day in many dangerous situations. For example, they perform many jobs for the military, such as patrolling minefields, deactivating bombs, clearing out hostile buildings, delivering supplies and spying on the enemy. They are equipped with cameras, video screens, force sensors and special grippers that allow them to do dangerous jobs. Some robots can even carry and operate weapons. For example, the MAARS (Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System) can take weapons, such as tear gas and grenade launchers.
