Writer and editor DEBIKA RAY is interested in global culture and its sociopolitical dimension. She has written for publications such as The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Sight & Sound, Wallpaper*, Icon, Disegno, Kinfolk, Metropolis and Blueprint, covering subjects that ranged from the shifting skyline of New Delhi to the nurturing of creative districts in China. Last year Ray founded Clove, a magazine about the culture of South Asia and the region’s global diaspora.
