for a luncheon with friends, “I wanted to make it a bit girly, and really colorful,” says Jane Scott Hodges, founder of Leontine Linens, a New Orleans–based company devoted to creating bespoke, monogrammed linens. Hodges moved the party out of the dining room, opting instead to use one end of her chartreuse-infused double parlor. “It made guests instantly feel like this was going to be cozy and fun,” she says, as did her use of mismatched chairs, flowers in sun-drenched hues, and, of course, beautiful napkins on the table.
