The aftermarket audio industry has evolved massively over the last decade. It has had to. Gone are the days of swapping your headunit in a matter of minutes. New cars don’t just have audio systems, they have integrated multimedia interfaces that don’t just take up a DIN or two but the whole bloody dash. In the old days, if you lusted after a full-range audio install, or even just an added woofer in your car, it’s safe to say you had your work cut out. It’s not so much finding a place to bolt down that sub, or running the 14 miles of cable. It’s not even having to make massive speakers fit weenie little door holes. The last few months have been pretty expensive what with car insurance and getting my wheels refurbed. And despite what people think, we are hardly on Premier League footballer’s wages here (speak for yourself – Jules), so this month I was planning on having a fairly cheap one car wise, however my air ride decided to have different ideas.
