INGREDIENTS:
• 300g/10½oz/2½ cups plain/all-purpose flour• 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda• 2 tsp ground ginger• 1 tsp ground nutmeg• 125g/4½oz/1 stick butter• 100g/3oz/½ cup dark muscovado sugar• 4 tbsp golden syrup

• Icing pens• Melted chocolate• Sprinkles, hundreds and thousands, coloured candy sweets, or anything else you can think of!
METHOD:
Start by preheating oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5. Line two or three baking trays with greaseproof paper – if you don't have enough trays or oven space, simply bake the biscuits in batches.
