One Ewok film you’re not likely to see anytime soon is Return Of The Ewok: a 24-minute short directed by David Tomblin during the production of The Return Of The Jedi. Starring Warwick Davis, it offers a peculiar, fictionalised version of how Davis came to be cast as Wicket. Davis believes he owns the only copy. Tomblin was a second unit and assistant director on Return Of The Jedi, giving him and Davis enviable access to the cast and crew for their side project. The magic, though, has proven hard to recapture.
