Though you wouldn’t know it from the pay gap (still sitting at 17.9 per cent, having not improved but actually worsened over the past decade, for anyone feeling complacent) I think it’s obvious by now that there’s nothing a man can do that a woman can’t. Immediately after the initial mark or leak, use warm, soapy water or a recommended leather cleaner to remove, or at least dilute, the stain. But if it already looks way past the point of saving, it’s best to contact a leather professional to remove the mark.
