IT’S been less than two years since ANGELINA JOLIE had a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer – now she’s recovering from more preventative surgery. This time the actress had her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed. In the New York Times she says she has an 87 % chance of developing breast cancer and a 50 % chance of ovarian cancer as she carries the BRCA1 gene mutation. Cecil John Rhodes was born on 5 July 1853 in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, England and died of heart failure on 26 March 1902 in Muizenberg in the Cape. He was just 49 years old when he died.
